lies for birth defects

The independent Congressional Research Service found that the EPA manipulated findings in a report on Bush's "Clear Skies Act" to make it seem cheaper and more effective than a competing air pollution bills from Sen. Thomas Carper (D-DE) and the always hot shit Sen. Jim Jeffords (I-VT). Basically, "Clear Skies" will reduce emissions of carbon dioxide, sulfure dioxide, and everybody's favorite neurotoxin mercury, 70% by 2018. The Carper-Jeffords bills would cut them by 90% by about 2012. So, the EPA lied and said "Clear Skies" would be cheaper for industry and offer more health benefits. Cool, so when your kids are born in 10 years with mutated genitalia from mercury emissions seeping in the water supply, you will know exactly who to thank.
